Animation:
2025 Queensland Super Smash Ultimate Power Rankings

This is an animation completed in 2025 for the results and rankings of a local Esports community who played Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (2018) competitively. The animation was based off of Super Mario Bros. 3 (1988) in its level select menu. I get largely inspired off of media I feel nostalgic for and this game is under that category of media for me.
.
I always start my animation concepts by drawing on paper, I've found that it's a great way for me to get ideas down without easily losing track of what I want to expand upon.

Flour Bag Animation

This was an animation I completed at my first year at QUT in 2024. The task was to complete a simple animation of a flour bag showcasing movement and visual body language. The final animation was inspired by the relationship of Jerry and Nibbles from Tom and Jerry's "The Milky Waif" (1946) where Jerry befriended a younger mouse and communication between them was shown in a scriptless animation.

Cuphead Animation Snippet

Referenced Animation:
A small bit of storyboarding I tried when The Cuphead Show (2022) was airing. This is another redraw of a scene I enjoyed and tried to learn more bits and pieces of animating body movement.
Animated Ball Weights

Uni work
Another animation completed in 2024 for QUT. These animations were very small in comparison to the others showcased. These were the animations where I learned about the squash and stretch technique as well as faster movements having less frames.
The three videos are split up by different ball weights. A standard ball, a beachball and a bowling ball all being dropped with their unique physics.
Rough Animation for 2023 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Rankings

An older animation I was commissioned to make for the same esports community as above.
This theme was inspired and based off of Cuphead (2017) which really fueled my drawing passion at the time. Seeing a project like that completely commit to Rubber Hose Animation for modern media really helped me gain confidence in exploring which kinds of art styles I preferred drawing with.
Steven Universe Movie Poses

This was an animation I redrew from Steven Universe: The Movie (2019) when I was learning about storyboarding. I wanted to take a few shots from a scene I loved and draw the key poses like a storyboarder. Looking back at it, I'm still quite proud of the facial expressions I drew for Bismuth, who is the character singing.

Storyboard Snippet of "It's Over Isn't It"

This is an older bit of animation I did in my spare time in 2021. This is from Steven Universe's "Mr Greg" that aired in 2016. This show was inspiring me a lot at the time which led me to looking into a lot of storyboarding work that went into the show. I found a storyboard uploaded online which I redrew. I was so new to animation at the time that I didn't have an animation software to use, I saved drawings as images and pieced them into this.
